A former Masury man who dragged a woman through broken glass, choked her and punched her in the face multiple times was sentenced Aug. 28 to 5 years’ probation.
Dustin M. Lohr, 39, of Youngstown, pleaded guilty July 16 to attempted domestic violence.
The incident occurred March 29 at his former home on Service Avenue, where he got into an argument with a 39-year-old woman over car keys, Brookfield police said. Lohr threw a suitcase and broke glass, then went after the woman. She was treated by Brookfield Fire-EMS.
Lohr had previous domestic violence convictions from 2000 and 2001, police said.
