The daughter of a 98-year-old woman who died of injuries suffered in a car-motorcycle crash July 13 in Masury was found guilty Dec. 3 of reckless operation.
The Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office withdrew a charge of vehicular manslaughter as part of a plea deal. Creola Snow, 73, of 747 Fern St., Masury, was fined $150 and costs in Trumbull County Eastern District Court.
Snow was driving northbound on Route 62 at about 3:45 p.m. when she turned left onto Roberts Street, into the path of a motorcycle driven by Albert L. King III, 35, of 714 Syme St., Masury, which also was carrying a 15-year-old passenger, Kaydence M. King of Independence, Mo., Ohio Highway Patrol said. Both Kings were thrown, police said.
All parties were taken to hospitals. Beautrice Snow of 786 Fern St., Masury, a passenger in Creola Snow’s car, died as a result of her injuries, police said.
King has been charged with drunken driving, endangering children, driving under suspension and driving without a license.
