Brady Myers has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in scouting.
For his Eagle Scout project, Brady summoned the help of family members, friends and fellow scouts to design and build an information kiosk at Stull Farm Park, the city of Hermitage’s environmental park on Sample Road. Brady worked in conjunction with Neil Hosick, facilities coordinator for the city. The kiosk was installed in a garden area that covers the footprint of where the original Stull Farm homestead was located. This project beautifies the park and provides a place to update the public on upcoming city activities, as well as events at the Hermitage Historical Society.
Brady joined Cub Scout Pack 62 in 2010, then crossed over to Boy Scout Troop 3, which meets at First Presbyterian Church, Sharon, in 2015. Brady has earned 32 merit badges and has held several leadership positions including Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader and Quartermaster.
Brady recently graduated from Brookfield High School and plans to attend Ohio State to pursue his interest in engineering.
