The state of Ohio has implemented a burn ban effective Oct. 1 to Nov. 30. “There’s no burning of yard debris and leaves and ditch lines and things like that after Oct. 1,” said Fire Chief David Masirovits. Small cook fires are allowed if the fires are small, contained and a water bucket is nearby.
