Ferguson PLC, an English-based distributor of infrastructure, plumbing and appliances to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire, fabrication and other industries, has acquired Pipelines Inc., a waterworks supply distribution company, said Ferguson spokesman John Pappas.
Pipelines, which has a Masury location on Addison Road, is based in East Liverpool.
“We are excited to welcome Pipelines to the Ferguson team,” Pappas said.
Pappas said he could not provide details of the acquisition, which closed Jan. 30.
Ferguson has more than 1,500 branches and 10 national distribution centers in the United States, serving all 50 states, according to its website.
Ferguson Enterprises was created in 1953, and was bought in 1982 by Wolseley-Hughes Limited.
