A Masury man has been jailed on a charge of rape.
Roderick K. Darby, 31, of 7615 Warren Sharon Road, is accused of assaulting a 51-year-old Masury woman whose ability to resist or consent is substantially impaired because of a mental or physical condition, Brookfield police said.
The assault occurred April 6 at Kaleidescope Project Inc., 832 N. Stateline Road, police said.
The victim did not require medical treatment, police said.
Darby, also known as Roderick Darby-Campbell, appeared in Trumbull County Eastern District Court April 7 for a bond hearing, and was remanded to jail. Darby’s arraignment is set for April 11.
