A former Brookfield man, who wants to remain anonymous and is part of a national disaster relief organization, will give away household items for free from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 16 on Broadway Avenue in Masury.

Items to be given away include paper towels, toilet paper, body wash, electric and manual razors, insect spray, aspirin, disinfecting wipes and vitamin boost drinks. If you’re interested in Apatamil baby formula, ask for it.

All items will be given away for free, and there will be no income guidelines.

“It’s all faith-based – we don’t charge, “the man said. “We’re under God’s rule.”

The giveaway will be first-come, first-served, and could end earlier than noon if there is a big turnout. Vehicles should line up on Broadway. Items will be loaded into vehicles by volunteers near the Bala Management building, the former Methodist church, at 1386 Broadway.
