The family of Tommy Hutchinson Jr., who was killed in a two-car crash July 16 in Masury, has started a nonprofit foundation to help grieving families in time of need, said Hutchinson’s sister, Kristen Diclaudio.

“We had to get help from gofundme and donations to bury him,” she said.

The Warriors for Tommy Fund will have its first official fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Brookfield Township social hall at 747 Route 7, behind the fire station.

Champion boxer Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik will be there to sign autographs. Pavlik also donated a signed boxing glove and a one-year membership to his gym.

The event also will include a taco bar, raffles and a Chinese auction.

The fund was created under the auspices of the Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern OH. Donations to the Warriors for Tommy Fund can be made at the community foundation website – www.comm-foundation.org – or by sending a check made out to the Community Foundation with Warriors for Tommy Fund written in the memo line to 7 W. State St., Sharon PA 16146.
