Brookfield schools will hold a series of public holiday concerts.
The Brookfield Middle School sixth- and seventh-grade bands and the Brookfield High School jazz and concert bands will play at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 in the school auditorium, 614 Bedford Road.
The bands are directed by Elza Wright. A guest conductor, Dr. John Colantonio, professor emeritus from Clarion University, will take the baton for a piece entitled “Adventum.”
The elementary school will hold choral concerts, based on grade level. First-graders will sing at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 12, with third graders following at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The second-grade singers get their turns at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14, and the fourth grade takes the stage at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Kindergarten performs at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 15.
