A former resident of a Masury nursing home has been charged with raping another resident.
Brookfield police filed the rape charge March 14 against Kennis L. Haylett, 74.
The assault occurred Feb. 16 when the suspect and 67-year-old victim were residents of O’Brien Memorial Health Care Center, police said. A care home staff member notified police, police said.
Police said Haylett has been moved to another care facility.
An arraignment date has not been set, according to Haylett’s online docket at Trumbull County Eastern District Court.
