Brookfield Youth Baseball and Softball Inc. held opening day Saturday, April 21, at Brookfield Township Community Park.
Each of the team members were introduced and some played exhibition games; the Brookfield High School softball team squared off against Pymatuning Valley High School; and the concession stand was open.
The park was jammed with vehicles as parents and grandparents came to wish the players well.
Baseball and softball coaches try to get their players in some sort of order for a mass team photo as parents and grandparents wait for their photo opportunity.
