The driver of a minivan involved in a two-vehicle crash at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Warren Sharon Road in Masury was taken to a hospital by Brookfield firefighters.
The driver of the car also involved in the crash was arrested by Ohio Highway Patrol after field sobriety tests.
The crash occurred just east of Boyd Street on the West Hill.
Brookfield firefighters used a rescue tool to pop the door of the Chevrolet sedan and free the man. The driver said he wasn’t injured, firefighters said.
The woman gingerly moved from her Kia minivan to a waiting gurney, and was rolled to an ambulance.
Brookfield police also responded.
The cars remained on the street at 9:20 p.m. and traffic on Warren Sharon had to detour around the crash site.
