A Farrell man wanted on a two-year-old warrant charging him with unauthorized use of a vehicle pleaded guilty March 11.

Eric V. Domascieno, 26, was accused by Brookfield police of taking a PT Cruiser belonging to a man who lives in the 8100 block of Addison Road. Masury, on March 8, 2019. When contacted by police two days later, Domascieno said he didn’t remember where he had left the car and would look for it, police said. Sharon police found the car April 6, 2019, in the 400 block of South Stateline Road.

Domascieno was arrested Feb. 28 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Youngstown. Hospital officials became aware of the warrant and notified police, police said.

Appearing in Trumbull County Eastern District Court March 11, Domascieno agreed to a deal in which he pleaded guilty to a charge of unauthorized use that was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor. The victim also appeared and endorsed the deal.

Judge Marty D. Nosich said Domascieno had paid restitution.

promoNosich sentenced Domascieno to 5 days in jail, but gave him credit for the day he had served already, and allowed him to work 32 hours of community service instead of serving the other four days. Nosich also levied a $200 fine and ordered Domascieno to serve 1 year of probation.
