While one worker from Innovative Sport Surfacing of Mentor pours water into concrete, another uses a steel dowel to mix it up for the installation of playground equipment at Brookfield Elementary School. Money for the project was raised by elementary students reading books, and family members and friends paying according to the number of minutes read. The school district matched the money raised by the students.
