Brookfield police have filed two sex charges against a township man who is being held in Mercer County Jail on Sharon charges concerning the same victim.
Dustin M. Kaczmark, 23, of, 1068 S. Park Drive, was charged Aug. 12 by Brookfield police with two counts of sexual contact with a girl. The alleged incidents occurred in February and June at an address near to where Kaczmark lives, police said.
Brookfield police said they received the initial report at the end of July.
Sharon police on Aug. 10 filed charges of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corruption of a minor, alleging Kaczmark had sexual contact with the 14-year-old girl July 28 at a home on South Irvine Avenue.
Sharon police said they were called Aug. 9 by Akron Children’s Hospital, Boardman, where the girl was questioned by a representative of Trumbull County Children’s Services. The girl reported having a relationship with Kaczmark that began in about December, Sharon police said.
Kaczmark was arraigned Aug. 10 on the Sharon charges, and faces a preliminary hearing Sept. 7.
Trumbull County authorities will seek to extradite Kaczmark to face the Brookfield charges, Brookfield police said.
